[PAARL-1] PAARL ROCK NATURE RESERVE
ABOUT THE ROUTE

Discover the beautiful scenery of the Paarl Rock nature reserve. The day will bring the group to Paarl via side and gravel roads, and up to the Paarl Rock and other eye catching places.

This tour is absolutely suitable for off-road beginners, however a reasonable level of fitness is strongly recommended.
You only need a driving licence, valid for a 250/300cc (<35kW) motorcycle.

Itinerary:
The route leading to Paarl, after a short ride on the N1, follows gravel farm roads and countryside tar roads. The climb to the Paarl Rocks Nature Reserve is done via a good gravel road, and the trail around the Paarl rocks doesn’t offer too many difficulties. On the way back to Bellville, minor tar roads alternate with gravel roads.

Picnic in the Nature Reserve. Dessert and coffee at Knus or at the Joostenberg farm.

[DARL-1] THE OLD RAILWAYS ROAD TO DARLING
ABOUT THE ROUTE

Amazing tour along the picturesque old railway service road, leading to the small town of Darling on the West Coast region.

This tour is intended for people with no (or limited) off-road experience, and those wishing to experience a unique adventure in a relaxed atmosphere and at an easygoing pace.
You only need a driving licence, valid for a 250/300cc (<35kW) motorcycle.
A reasonable level of fitness is recommended.

The route follows, after a short warm-up (40′), the service road along the railways, all the way from Klipheuwel to Darling. The return way uses more or less the same route, in addition to a short incursion in the Riverlands Reserve.

[SED-1] DISCOVERY TOUR IN THE OUTENIQUA MOUNTAINS
ABOUT THE ROUTE

A fantastic way to discover the Outeniqua Mountains and the Klein Karoo, as well as most of the longest pass road of South Africa: the Prince Alfred Pass (78km) which links Avontuur to Knysna.

The route is not too challenging and is
absolutely suitable for off-road newcomers, and those wishing to experience a unique adventure in a relaxed atmosphere and at an easygoing pace.
