The Renter agrees

 

(a) that the rented vehicle shall not be used to carry passengers; 

(b) to solely use the vehicle under the supervision of the tour guide;

(c) not to use the vehicle to push, propel or tow another motorbike;

(d) not to use the vehicle for any illegal purpose; 

(e) not to operate the vehicle in a negligent manner;

(f) not to permit the vehicle to be operated by any other person without the written permission of the owner.

Insurance 

 

Endurafrica’s insurance covers collision damages and third party accidents sustained on tar roads only (off-road riding, even on public gravel roads, in not covered).

The Renter hereby agrees that he shall fully indemnify the Owner for any and all loss of or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of the rental agreement, whether caused by self-accident, fall, fire, flood, vandalism or any other cause, except that which shall be determined to be caused by a fault or defect of the vehicle or equipment. 

The renter agrees to insure the vehicle personally. The Owner agrees to let the Renter, should there be damage to the bike, for the Renter’s Insurer to fix the damage, while the Owner holds the right to retain the deposit until such time as the bike has been inspected by the Owner, and repaired to his specifications.

Deposit 

 

The Renter further agrees to make a deposit of ZAR 7’500 with the Owner, said deposit to be used, in the event of loss of or damage to the vehicle or equipment during the term of the rental agreement, to defray fully or partially the cost of necessary repairs or replacement. 

In the absence of damage or loss, said deposit shall be returned to the Renter. 

Please note that the collection of the bike will not be authorised if the deposit has not been received by the Owner.

By returning the booking form and attending a tour, the Renter agrees de facto to the present Rental Terms & Conditions.
